“We HURT in Relationships and HEAL in Relationships.”

I am seeking support with…

  • What I Provide: I provide evidence based psychotherapy to support you or your loved one in the journey of Eating Disorder Recovery. Whether you are new to recovery or have been on this journey for a while, I can support you in continuing to live a life based on your values, wants and wishes, outside of restrictive, compensatory, food preoccupation, body dissatisfaction, binge eating, disorder eating, and food-related anxiety. I have experience in working with those whom struggle or have struggled with a wide range of Eating Disorder diagnoses and/or symptoms in all levels of care. Whether you struggled with a specific diagnosed or whether you don’t “fit the criteria”, I am here to support you.

My Approach: I view Eating Disorders as a maladaptive coping strategy, that disconnect us from our inner-self, body and relational world. My goal is to support you in using adaptive coping strategies to cope with urges and behaviors, while exploring the disconnections and roles that the Eating Disorder has had in your life.

I will use the Intuitive Eating model as it best serves your needs and life story, and will provide Weight Inclusive, Trauma Informed Eating Disorder Care. I will utilize techniques and the frame work of IFS, Attachment Theory, and Polyvagal Theory, as well DBT and CBT for skill building. I will meet you where you are at and we will collectively work towards mind-body safety, connection and attunement.

    Who I support: Adults (18-35), Adolescents (12+), and Parents/Siblings.

    Additional Support: Meal support.

Additions: I work and collaborate with your OP treatment team, which can include a Dietician, Psychiatrist, and PCP.

Sessions offered: I offer in-Person Sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays, and Virtual Sessions Monday through Friday.

  • What I Provide: I provide evidence based trauma informed psychotherapy in helping you feel more balanced and connected with yourself, others, and the world around you. Whether you are feeling hopeless, fearing that things won’t get better, or overwhelmed – I am here to support you.

My Approach: I will meet you where you are and together we will explore the behaviors, feelings and sensations that are making life difficult. We will engage in behavioral change, while attending to the wounds that have turned into life difficulties. I will utilize techniques and the frame work of IFS, Attachment Theory, and Polyvagal Theory, as well as DBT and CBT for skill building.

Who I support: Adults (15-35 years old)

  • What I Provide: Is change happening to fast or too soon, or feeling like change isn’t happening at all. Feeling anxious, lost and confused. Like you “should” be happy but you are not. No longer connecting with your friends or family like you used to. Not sure where you are meant to be or what to do. Bouncing from job to job, relationship to relationship or feeling stuck in the same place. Wanting to grow and progress, but not sure where to start. Finally arriving at your dream job, or city and feeling dissatisfied. Listening to podcast, reading the books, talking to some friends and family but still not finding the support that you need. If so, you are NOT ALONE!

My Approach: If you connected with any of the above, I am here to support you in making effective and supportive changes or coping with the changes that are already happening. Sometimes we just need an unbiase compassionate individual to show us our blind spots and give us the tools to regulate and identify our emotions, thoughts, and sensations. I will utilize techniques and the frame work of IFS, Attachment Theory, and Polyvagal Theory, as well as DBT and CBT for skill building.

Who I support: Adults (15-35 years old).

FAQs

  • My rate is $175 for a 50 minute session. When available I do offer sliding scale slots.

  • I do not take insurance, but I do offer a Superbill. At the beginning of each month you will receive a Superbill via email for the month prior.

A superbill shows an itemized list of services that you have received from an out-of-network provider. It serves as an invoice to submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement for therapy services.

  • Depending on your needs and availability, we will create a schedule that best serves you and your therapeutic goals. If you are a new Client, I recommend weekly sessions for the first month. After the first month we can both decided if we want to keep sessions as is or move to bi-weekly sessions.

If this is for your loved one, and they are an adolescent we will incorporate family therapy, and this will look different depending on their needs.

Throughout therapy it is common to decrease and/or increase sessions. Your sessions schedule might change or vary, and that is okay. We will always work on this together making a decision that best meet your needs and therapeutic goals.
